We only select the best – in order to meet our customers requirements we select the optimal carcass type and make sure each animal meets a number of strict criteria.

  • Cattle must be procured from beef breeds only, dairy breeds are not accepted into the Surrey Farm brand.
  • Cattle must be aged less than 30 months at time of slaughter
  • Prime steer and heifers are eligible for Surrey Farm premium beef.
  • Heifer and Steer Carcasses of 250kgs to 370kgs are eligible
  • Carcasses must have a confirmation of E, U, R and a fat class of 3, 4L, 4H,
