Le Meridien Piccadilly Visit
On Thursday the 13th of September ABP Guildford had the pleasure of hosting five chefs from the prestigious Le Meridien hotel in Piccadilly. They are proud to serve Surrey Farm steaks in their newly opened Terrace Grill & Bar, which focuses on using locally sourced ingredients. Chef Robin D’Souza commented on Surrey Farms excellent taste and tenderness which he feels makes it the best steak they serve. Diners have the option of fillet, sirloin and ribeye from the grill menu. The chefs enjoyed a full tour of ABP Guildford, the home of Surrey Farm, including a full butchery demonstration. Following this they visited Mark and Richard Tilley at Baynards Estate farm where they run 250 breeding cows on some of Surrey’s finest grassland. Richard and Mark have been producing beef for Surrey Farm since its launch last year. Robin and his team saw young store animals enjoying the summer sunshine, as well as cows and calves out at grass with the bull.
